The Kaleidescape 3U Server was designed from the ground up to reliably store uncompressed high quality movies and music on a modern array of highly-reliable hard disk drives. As your collection grows, you can add additional Kaleidescape Disk Cartridges to increase storage capacity for your movies and music. A single 3U Server can store up to 1,800 DVDs or 20,000 CDs. Multiple Servers can be clustered in a single System to store thousands of movies and albums as a single collection.

The Kaleidescape 1U Server provides ultra-reliable storage for your favorite movies and music. Like all Kaleidescape Servers, it's able to continue running even after a drive failure – while it continues to safely store your valuable entertainment content.
As your collection grows, you can add additional Kaleidescape Disk Cartridges to increase storage capacity for your movies and music. A single 1U Server can store up to 450 DVDs or 5,000 CDs. Multiple Servers can be clustered in a single System to store thousands of movies and albums as a single collection.

The 1080p Player creates beautiful high definition output from your DVDs, providing a viewing experience that rivals Blu-ray. The Kaleidescape Experience is also available for DVDs and CDs that have not been imported. Insert a disc into the 1080p Player and enjoy details about the movie or album. Select "Play Movie" on the onscreen display and the movie starts directly, without trailers and advertisements - even for rental movies! Or use the 1080p Player to import DVD and CD content into the Kaleidescape System.

The 1080p Mini Player creates beautiful high definition output from your DVDs, providing a viewing experience that rivals Blu-ray, and it does so in a compact form factor. Its small size and near-silent operation make it an ideal free-standing device sitting on a shelf in the viewing room, hidden behind a plasma display, concealed in a cabinet, or mounted recessed in a wall or behind a piece of furniture. Designed to play back movies and music from a Kaleidescape Server, the 1080p Mini Player is perfect for locations where imports and direct playback of a DVD or CD are not required, such as a child's room or a stateroom on a yacht.

 The Kaleidescape Music Player delivers up to four simultaneous independent zones of high-quality audio, each of which is available in both digital and analog stereo. Each zone may be controlled through the Kaleidescape onscreen display on any Movie Player, the Web Utility or from a keypad or touch panel. Kaleidescape provides downloadable modules and touch panel programs for most popular control systems. The Kaleidescape Music Player can also be used to import CDs and DVDs into the Kaleidescape System. Simply insert a disc and its contents will be automatically imported.
