Intelligent lighting refers to stage lighting that has automated or
mechanical abilities beyond those of traditional, stationary
illumination. Although the most advanced 'intelligent' lights can
exhibit extraordinarily complicated effects, most lighting technicians
agree that it is closer to "obedient" lighting since the intelligence
lies with the programmer of the show rather than the instruments or
the lighting operator. For this reason, Intelligent Lighting is also
known simply as Automated lighting.
High-tech lighting systems are used to add dramatic effects to
Nightclubs, Casinos, Theme Parks, Churches, Schools, Discos, DJ
Venues, Concerts or Movie special effects. Lighting systems all use
different processes to control operation. From internal programs to
move the lighting unit(s) to the rhythm of the music or a random
movement program.
Most of the more advanced lighting systems will also use a 512 DMX
control system that lets you control every aspect of the lighting
system thru a DMX lighting control board or computer software.
Intelligent DMX fixtures brings together everything you need to put on
a vibrant, professional-quality light show for professional-type
fixtures designed for nightclubs, productions and serious
entertainers.
Intelligent or DMX-512 lighting fixtures are lighting fixtures that
can be programmed to move, change color, strobe or change gobo's
(shape, color, design or logo of the light beam) by a DMX Controller,
Computer Program or a built in program that works of sound or random
profile.
The fixtures are equipped with a super-crisp, high quality optical
systems to cover large areas with high quality designs and mechanisms
to provide reliable light show performances and very low maintenance.
Most come equipped with a high-velocity fan that keeps things running
cool all night for continuous operation with no duty cycle.
Additionally, all feature smooth, accurate stepper motors with
micro-stepping control processors and are design with high-tech
materials.
